Betting on the reactivationón of su economífocused on the tourism sectorístic, España has presented new requirements that are alreadyán in force for the entry of foreigners into its territory.
Are youí like since the week of 23 august 2021 have become more flexibleún más the health requirements that travelers mustán comply to be able to enter.
New entry requirements to España
Every passenger mustá fill out a travel formés from páwebsite of the Government of Spainña, or by downloading the applicationón Spain Travel Health (SpTH) mátheir respective documents such as passport or visaún the immigration case of each traveler.
From this moment, travelers are divided into two groups, those fully vaccinated and those who are notán, each one with its particularities and requirements that are detailed below.ón:
Fully vaccinated passengers
España isá open to fully vaccinated passengers and isán exempt from quarantine and presenting a negative COVID-19 test result.
Además, each passenger must pre-register electronicallyóonly before departure and travelers must bring proof of vaccinationón – The certificate/document can be requested at different points of the trip, which does not apply to passengers arriving from USA or a low risk area.
Types of vaccines accepted in Spainña
- Pfizer
- Modern
- AstraZeneca
- Janssen
- Sinopharm
- Sinovac
- Serum Institute of India
The certificate can be in printed or digital format and its authenticity will beá verified by the Department of Health upon arrival, where you must have the name and surname of the owner, vaccination dateón of each dose, type of vaccine, país de emisión and body that issues the certificate in Spanish languageñol, visualés o frances.
Passengers must have been vaccinated with their úlast dose of vaccine at least 14 días before their arrival and passengers under the age of 12 añbone isán exempt from presenting a vaccination certificateón and nor a negative COVID-19 test result.
Unvaccinated passengers
- The tests accepted are the following: NAAT (PCR, LAMP, DARK) an ant testígeno listed común of test rádetection requestsón of antígene for COVID-19, published by the Commissionón European based on the RecommendationóCouncil No 2021/C 24/01.
- In the case of the PCR certificate, the sample must have been taken in the 72 hours prior to arrival in Spainña; in the case of the ant testíknees, said sample must have been taken in the 48 hours prior to entering Spainña.
