I recently flew to Mexico City – Bogota – Mexico City. The worst flight experience with those interiors. The truth is, I don't know what the author of this note intends., I think it matches Avianca and tries to convince the reader of the "goodness" of these new chairs. I had traveled before with Avianca, I was unaware that they had reconfigured their interiors. And the truth, I think cows, goats and sheep travel better in a truck than passengers on Avianca.. I opted for Avianca because I had flown with them years ago and it seemed like an excellent airline and it was my first choice for traveling., but I didn't expect those horrible seats, not to the detriment of human comfort or ergonomics. Of course there are other options on the market., LATAM or fly on a US airline or COPA. On internal flights, can be considered appropriate, flights of 45 minutes to an hour and a half you know perfectly well how things are going. But since Avianca is putting planes with those interiors worthy of Torquemada, the user is being abused. It reminds me of those greedy and hungry guys who offered cheap third class tickets on ships from Europe to America. The market has already said enough to Ultra and Viva Air. I wonder who's next. You’re absolutely right! I traveled overseas last month and those seats are so disgraceful. I will NOT fly Avianca ever again until business class goes back into these planes. Otherwise, I refuse to fly these planes with their new “European Business Class” which I find so incredibly disrespectful, being a big guy myself, it’s not just crass, but it is also a slap in the face of those who used to fly yearly in the old business class. I will take my business to United Airlines.

These are the worst seats I have ridden in Ever. I thought some spirit and frontier flights were bad for legroom and fly about 20 weeks a year for work. For 5 different flights Sat in rows 9 to 20 The reclinable seats are worse that fixed. My wife at 5’ 1” felt cramped. Sorry never will fly Avianca again

these new chairs are torture, I was on a flight from 4.5 hours and my back and waist still hurt, the chair is a hard board, with no ergonomics and it is almost impossible to hold the position without reclining,what a mess, I advise you to look for other companies to fly. Avianca is uncomfortable, lousy service and also expensive, an airline disaster.

I just had the most uncomfortable flight of my life on this new Avianca model. Avianca was my first choice for flights in Latin America, due to the quality of service and the southern position of Bogota.
I flew in a plus seat, believing that the fare I chose involved only luggage, rebooking without charge and front position. Reading this post, I just found out that on the same plane there were even more uncomfortable seats than mine.
It is simply unbelievable.
Talk about free market, knowing that I will go through a torture like this interferes not only in the choice of the airline, but in the definition of the destination and in the very decision to travel.

Take a flight from CDMX to Bogota with these new seats and it's the most uncomfortable thing in the world, no leg room, the back gets tired because the seat is stiff and hard, as if that were not enough, the food is lousy, also with their XS rates, S, M and L become super expensive to travel with checked luggage. It has been my worst experience with this airline, is far from what it was before, forced to look for other options, now it costs me the same price to travel by Aeroméxico and it is much much more pleasant

I totally agree. For long flights the experience is disastrous. I will never choose the one I always believed to be the best airline again. Disappointed 100% of avianca both in the comfort and in the friendliness of the personnel that characterized them. Yesterday I traveled on the HK5320, that belonged to Viva Air and its chairs were modern but hard and did not recline.
