For the first time in aviation historyón, an aerosolícommercial line voló I saw oneón with its full passenger capacity, using aviation fuelón 100% sustainable (PURE).
The same día, announcementó the second round of corporate participants in our Eco-Skies AllianceSM program to collectively contribute to the purchase of SAF.
The demonstration flightón, scheduled to take off with más de 100 passengers from O’Hare from Chicago and landing at Reagan Washington National Airport, DC, tookó out in a new 737 MAX 8 y usó más de 1800 liters of SAF in one engine and the same amount of conventional fuel in the other engine to demonstrateún más that there are no operational differences between the two and to set the stage for m usesáscalable SAF services by all airlinesífuture.
Currently, the aerosolsílines can only use one máximo del 50% of SAF on board. The SAF that was usedó on this flight isá ready and compatible with existing aircraft fleets.
