Hi Nicolas, This is good news because it shows that regional trade continues to grow. On the other hand, an excellent decision by Avianca Cargo to once again choose the Airbus A330P2F since it is really no longer possible to order new freighters since the launch was not successful for Airbus and waiting until the Airbus A350Fs go into production will take time..

I say this because the A330P2F will not have zero kilometers in terms of their operating cycles when already used. Likewise, the MAS subsidiary of LATAM has already done.

The A330Fs are still my favourites, with the B777Fs being the most efficient as freighters..

thanks for this news, best regards.

Totally true Nicholas, the cost issue is a determining point.

As we have mentioned, the Airbus A330P2F are gaining ground in the freighter world.. Egypt Air was once the launch customer for its A330-200 and today Avianca Cargo, More especially, they are already giving a new life in Latin America to these high performance and safety aircraft.. We know that Mas is a subsidiary of LATAM Cargo and it rented MD-11s months ago, operating in Quito, for example.. But do you know if LATAM Cargo is considering the possibility of incorporating A330P2F as a complement to its Boeing 767F fleet?? Before LAN operated B777F and reduced its business but today it seems to be growing again….
