Iberia will increase the percentage of women in management positions

after the pandemic, Iberia ha radishñado and relaunched his Diversity Plan, Equity and Inclusivityón with a new approach that encompasses groups of género, generational, cultural (nationalities), LGTBIQ+ and disability. The objective of this new Diversity Plan, Equity and Inclusivityón is to achieve adequate managementón of the different talent what's in the companyñía, that enhances commitment and sense of belonging of employees, e pulses at creativity and innovationón internal to face the organizational challenges that the aerolínea has ahead.

Regarding the group of género, the aerolínea Eastá developing internal and external initiatives to give visibility to its female talent and promote the presence of women at all levels and professions within the companyñía.

2025: 40%  of women in positions of high responsibility

The 38 percent of the workforce in Iberia are women; they are majority in the administrative body and among the cabin crew, and stillíto a minoríin professions such as pilots, aero engineersáutics and téaircraft maintenance technicians.
In líne with its matrix IAG, Iberia It is committed to increase the percentage of women in management positions to the 40 percent in the própeaks of theños. Between 2018 y 2022, the airínea has gone from having a 18 percent to a 34 percent of women in management positionsás high responsibility.

Sensitize, develop and make visible female talent

The Diversity Plan, Equity and Inclusivityón of Iberia promotes the presence of women in management positions and brings them closer to those professions in the aviation sectoráutico where stillíthey are minorities, a través of different initiatives that are part of three great pillars:
