Thousands of workers have been tirelessly building this modern aviation center.ón, and progress is seen little by little, prepareándose para la esperada gran inauguración del próximo 18 from December. Con más of the 90% of constructionón completed, the airport will beá ready to open its doors in less than five months.

Lima Airport más of the 90%
Scheduled to begin operations in December, the new terminal isá diseñed to accommodate the 30 million passengers annually. Countá with technologyíto of úlast generationón comparable to major airports in the world. Among the advanced systems and equipment already installed are:
- Sophisticated baggage handling systems: including 27 líneas of inspectionón equipped with escátomograph neresícomputerized for greater safety and comfort of passengers.
- Advanced management systemsónumber of aircraft: A new digital platform guideá aircraft movements on the apron safely and efficiently.
- Modern cargo handling facilities: High capacity elevators facilitateán handling heavy luggage.
Passenger services: Numerous check-in countersón, Self-service kiosks and spacious boarding gates ensureán a hassle-free travel experience.

- Diseñor sustainable: The airport isá building with a focus on environmental sustainability.
New temporary land accesses
To ensure a fáeasy access to the new airport, the authorities areán investing in infrastructure improvements. A new víto access, Morales Du Avenueárez, to beá the main route to the terminal. Además, isá developing a comprehensive transportation planúblic to connect the airport with various parts of Lima and Callao.
- The infrastructure includes más of a kiloóv meteríadditional aces.
- The MTC will putá an operationón the Santa Rosa Bridge in 2027, establishing the final access route to the airport.
- It has been destined más of US$ 7 additional millions for constructionón, operationón and maintenance of roads, which implies an addendum to the contract.
LAP and the Urban Transportation Authority for Lima and Callao (MORE) Eastán working on a plan to connect the new airport to the city via public transportation busesúblico. They project between 5 and 6 new routes to includeán connections with brokers, the Metropolitan and the Lídenies 1 and 2 of the Lima and Callao Metro.
These routes coveráin the areas of Callao, South Lima and North Lima.
